The "include if possible" option

Suggested radio narration for a soap bar ad: "It doesn't lather, it doesn't float, it doesn't even get you clean. It simply keeps you company in the tub." [Does anyone ever read tutorial pages?]

The advanced search page features opportunity to add a block of terms that does not really change the search. Exactly the same results will be called forth if the Include if possible set of words is omitted. So why have it? Because it alters the relevance ranking. Records that contain these extra terms are assigned a slightly higher score, which means that they may show up nearer the top of the list of results. Of course, the number of waste words remains the major factor to ensure the best chance to arrive at the meaning that you desire in the results.

Why another search engine? Here is why.
